Project management jobs
  • A project manager has a pivotal information management job, and is responsible for project planning, obtaining appropriate resources and for status reporting to the sponsor and other external stakeholders; 
  • A data architect, acting as technical lead, frequently performs the role of project manager and is responsible for overall design, development and successful implementation; and
  • A project administrator is frequently assigned to help the project manager with project coordination activities.
  • Technical writer jobs are sometimes created for technical writers to create specialized user guides and technical documentation.
Requirements analysis jobs
  • Data modeler jobs require data modelers responsible for analyzing data requirement and documenting these requirements in the form of data models and capable of creating physical database design specifications;
  • Data analyst jobs are staffed with a business systems analyst responsible for analyzing source data quality and for developing source to target mapping documents (including data business transformation rules);

  • The software tester is responsible for creating QA test cases/test steps, documenting test results, and identifying QA test defects.

  • A change manger has overall responsible for any change impacting the production environment;
  • A release manager is responsible for managing the release implementation process;
  • Configuration management jobs are staffed with specialists who are required to manage and control the configuration items that are being introduced into the production environment; and
